FlaskNote is free during beta. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll give you advance notice. No credit card is required.

Personal Space

Your private research workspace includes:
  • 25 active projects
  • Unlimited notebooks
  • 1 GB of file storage shared by uploaded media and spectra artifacts
  • Version history
  • Read-only sharing by link and email

Lab workspaces

Lab workspaces include collaboration, invitations, shared projects and notebooks, inventory, equipment bookings, and activity. There are no checkout requirements or seat charges during beta. Workspace roles and sharing permissions still determine who can view and edit your work. Free access does not make your research public.

Usage allowances

Storage allowances and abuse protections remain in place. Files in Trash and files retained after notebook deletion still count toward storage until the stored files are removed. If deleted notebook files remain charged to your usage, contact support. Moving a project to Trash frees an active project slot. You can see your Personal Space storage usage in Settings. Reaching the storage allowance blocks additional uploads; it does not require a paid upgrade during beta.

Future pricing

We are building FlaskNote with the chemistry community. Paid plans may be introduced later, with advance notice. The previous Free, Plus, Lab, and Academia pricing options are paused during beta.
